- Fix: Sandboxing issue with QuickCursor (App Store only)
- Fix: Sandboxing issue when changing between plain text and rich text (App Store only)
- Fix: Crash when using Shift Left in some circumstances
- RTF Behavior: Opening rich text documents in WriteRoom will display in the theme’s colors, but font and actual text color settings are not overwritten unless manually changed by you
- Added: Toggle to view rich text documents with their actual text color
- Fixed: Text color always saved as black in rich text documents
- Fixed: Scroll-to-top on find and replace
- Fixed: Cases which could cause typing lag
- Fixed: Disabling Typewriter scrolling would also disable auto-indent
- Theme Text Behavior: When using rich text, changing themes will not change the font or color properties of your text. If you are using a RTF, then themes will ignore font, font size, etc: Changing themes will not change these. For plain text, themes will change these based on theme preset.
- Added: Text scaling for themes (View menu > Scale). Scaled text doesn’t change the original text size for printing.
- Added: Kerning settings now saved in themes (Format menu > Font > Kern)
- Fixed: Text color did not change to match theme when converting plain text to rich text
- Fixed: Line spacing issue in rich text documents
- Removed: Unused “Edits Length” column from session tracker csv
- Added: Link to Downloadable More Themes… in Themes menu.
- Fixed: Show Formatting Toolbar displays properly in all rich text documents.

WriteRoom 2 (licenses no longer sold)
- Fixed ODB Editor bug with QuickCursor when on 10.7 Lion.
- Fixed crash that sometimes occurred when selecting and editing text in documents using the 'wrap to page' feature.
- Fixed problem where font changes aren't persistent in a plain text document when switching between full screen and normal view.
- Improved typing speed when in full screen mode. I haven't been able to really reproduce this problem, but I changed a few things that might help. Please let us know in the forums if it really does help.
- Added: many new preferences since version 2.3.7.
- Changed: bundle ID for Mac App Store compatibility.
- Changed: default plain text encoding to UTF8.
- Changed: remembers position better between full screen and window modes.

- Cursor position in Full Screen Mode is now remembered correctly whatever your Scale settings.
- If you have your background set to black in Window Mode, the cursor block shows up instead of disappearing. It's still best to enable "Apply full screen colors to all windows."
- "Reopen last open documents" is not enabled by default.
- A few more typos fixed.
- Plays well with QuickCursor 2.0 (pending the opening of the Mac App Store). Previously it could fail periodically when getting the text back out.
